OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Over the past 12 years, we've had the privilege of partnering with a wide range of primary schools.
Here's one of our success stories.
Seven years ago, Glenroy Central a primary school in the northern region of Melbourne, partnered with Our House Spirit for two years to strengthen their school culture and develop their student leadership teams. Today, their culture is thriving, student leaders are confident, purposeful, and inclusive, and the school community comes together through multiple whole school House Spirit days every year. What’s even more remarkable, is that the program didn’t stop when the two year engagement ended. The school embedded what they learned into their everyday culture, and they continue to reap the rewards five years later. Although many of those student leaders have now left primary school, the skills, inclusiveness, and community-minded values they gained, continue to shape their experiences in secondary school and beyond.
This is the power our program, it creates a foundation that lasts, strengthening students, school culture, and the wider community for years to come.
