A strong sense of belonging begins from the moment students join their House. This full-day

workshop brings your student leaders together to create a memorable Welcome to House  experience for your youngest students.  

 

Together, we'll brainstorm, plan and create a fun two-hour House event that introduces Foundation students to their Houses and gives them meaningful opportunities to connect, participate and contribute from the very beginning.

 

Your student leaders take an active role in welcoming younger students, strengthening their own leadership capability while positively influencing the experiences of others and building connections across year levels. The workshop also includes a set of customised House bag tags to help every Foundation student feel connected to and proud of their House.

The result is a warm and engaging introduction to House that builds belonging, connection and House pride - helping every Foundation student begin their journey as an active member of their House community.
